Those who know me will not be surprised that privacy and surveillance will be a recurring topic here. I believe privacy to be an inalienable human right worth fighting for. I emplore everyone to seek out information about why you should care about the topic. When you are forced to care about it because the surveillance state has gone haywire, it will be too late to do anything. You are not data, you know better. Here is my short list of recommended gadgets:

Call & Text - Signal. Do not use whatsapp. Try to avoid telegram.

VPN - Mullvad, this is the MVP. Don't use a free VPN, you are better off without one.

Phone - GrapheneOS on a pixel phone. Battle tested and incredible project.

Email - Use Tutanota or Proton, don't use gmail

Browser - Please nothing google. I preffer to use hardened firefox variants, but you can even use Brave, just don't use google chrome or microsoft edge.

Just adding these five tools to your arsenal will significantly increase your safety on the web. Remember that the future is digital, and it does not seem to slow down. Surveillance is at an all time high and it will just keep getting worse. Step out of the light now before it is too late.

I am now back after my first time playing in Berlin, this time for Tresor. It was quite the experience and I feel very lucky that my music brings me to places like this. I return sad though, wondering what the Swedish club scene could have been if things were different.
